Reflecting back on this months events activity, I have found that doing a number of activities has helped me see what kind of exhibits , competitions and artwork is out there . I have found that taking part in these competitions has been pretty good as I have seen what kind of artists submit work and how detailed there work is . it also helps me see how I should improve on my own work throughout the rest of them.
When doing the live work I have asked the owners if they could give a proper review on how I have done for them and submit it for my portfolio . When receiving the professional letter I found that it was in great depth and detailed to the point that was given throughout the whole live work that I was given to do for them. When handing over the first poster for the animal lifeline I was asked at the kennels if I could design a poster direct for them as they needed so help. I said yes as it gives me more practice and it helps them out as well . I did say to the owners that I would help out with anything please just ask and they got back sooner than we both expected due to sad events.
I have also started to look for a placement for where I could reside and learn for a few weeks .
I visited a few places and reflecting back on these work places that I visited I can say that when speaking to them in person I felt that they were seeing the person that I am not hearing me over the phone it was better.
I was offered a good placement , and was going to work there for 4 weeks with them the manger said I could but the next morning said they were moving and I couldn't but I will not give up with them and will wait a while until they have settled down .
